Inclusive Forum Nepal(IFN) is one of the organizations working for the sexual and gender minorities and their counterparts in Nepal since its inception in 2013 March, Led by a transgender Male, Badri Pun also known as Dilu Buduja. The main agenda of the organization is to promote and to strengthen the rights of the sexual and gender minorities in respects to advocating the legal issues. Also, to supports the economic upliftment of the community. IFN is a part of the larger sexual and gender minorities movement, supporting and lobbying the government agencies for the safer for the safer identity and safe living of the sexual and gender minorities community.
IFN has been working in this sector for the past 7 years and has a prime actor in bring laws regarding the sexual and gender minorities in Nepal. IFN had a track record of strong research, Coordination, collaboration, networking skills and extensive experience in sexual and gender minorities sectors' policy and practice analysis and working with state and non-state actors on policy advocacy and governance.
The major working areas of the institution has been;
- Advocating, promoting and strengthening the rights of the sexual and gender minorities
- Providing skills which supports the economic upliftment of the community
- Lobbying the government agencies for the safer identity and safe living of the sexual and gender minorities.
